Accessibility Statement
Commitment
OpenLivestock.com is committed to making our website and member portal accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including disabled users.
Standards and approach
-
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
-
We use clear headings, meaningful link text, high-contrast colour palettes, keyboard-accessible navigation and form labels.
-
Videos and live Zoom events: we will provide guidance for using Zoom accessibility features and can supply captions/transcripts on request where feasible.
What we are doing
-
Ongoing audits of templates and key user flows (registration, listings, auction registration).
-
Testing with keyboard-only navigation and common screen readers.
-
Monitoring feedback channels and fixing issues based on impact and usage.
Known limitations
-
Embedded third-party components (e.g. Zoom registration pages or video players) may not fully meet our design standards.
-
User-generated content (seller images or documents) may not always be accessible. We encourage sellers to provide clear, well-labelled content.
